Daniela Vargas is a Los Angeles-based artist.

 

Her work is influenced by dreams, witchcraft, folktales, cats, nature, Mexican-American and gothic culture. Her art explores finding humor and beauty in the chaotic mystery that is life.

Storytelling and drawing have been her interest since childhood. Her dream was to become a cinematographer and make her own stories, characters, and sets. She studied cinema for 3 years in community college but decided her heart was in making traditional art. She changed her major and studied studio art, graphic design, children's book illustration and painting at Cal State Fullerton for 4 years earning a BFA in Illustration.
